The field sensor RFS-1G3 is especially designed for applications in the environment of electron accelerators with a frequency of 3 GHz. The module offers a wide dynamic range of typically 45 dB. RFS-3G is used to detect illegitimate field strengths in order to guarantee personal protection. Due to the integrated monopole antenna, an isolated current loop interface and the compact module design, RFS-3G can be easily integrated into existing systems.

This compact module features an integrated monopole antenna. Thus, no additional equipment is needed.

Unwanted adjacent signals like GSM or DECT are effectively suppressed. This way, the field sensor is not influenced by devices like mobile phones. Wi-Fi 802.11 is suppressed by an internal filter, too.

The field strength information is provided via analogue current loop 4 … 20 mA which corresponds to a common industry standard. This allows for a straightforward data analysis. The current loop interface of RFS-3G also features an optical indicator.

RFS-3G is especially designed for personal protection in electron accelerators in the 3 GHz range. For electron accelerators in the 1.3 GHz range, RFS-1G3 is offered.
As RFS-3G is a module especially designed for a certain application, Becker Nachrichtentechnik is able to offer more solutions tailored to individual customer needs.
