P00058A is an Electrical-Optical and Optical-Electrical Converter system developed to transmit analog and digital signals via optical fibers.
It was designed to be used in situations where the main signal has a high common mode voltage with respect to the equipment to be controlled. This situation can occur in plasma physics experiments, high voltage facilities, and high-power laser systems.
Triggering signals from noisy electrical sources such as high current discharge laser systems may be transmitted without Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) to the measurement or control equipment.
