The Z18XX Externally Modulated Series consists of Ultra Broadband RFoF (UB-RFoF), individual Tx and Rx high performance modules. These modules are designed for RF over Fiber Optics (RFoF) applications or configued as a fully integrated Transceiver unit. These Links have High Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) which supports instantaneous operational frequencies 20KHz to 60GHz. Custom optimization for specific u, K, Ka, Q and V bands are routinely made for a specific desied bandwidth.
The UB-RFoF Transceiver Series of our Linear Analog Links are designed as compact RF plug-in Modules for Single Mode Fiber operation. They are designed to be compact with a built in RF shield to support low EMI/RF interference. These units can be configued as transceivers with internal amplification odules. The external optical modulator is powered by high energy low RIN cooled DFB Laser Diode (LD), with wavelength options of 1550nm and optional 1310nm. The standard optical connectors are SC/APC or FC/APC for low back refletion. The Receiver features a high performance InGaAs photodiode. The RF interface is via a 50 Ohms K-Type connector or other connectors to support the total link bandwidth. Alarm and Monitoring functions are available through the 9 pin connector.
The same product can be packaged as a single slot for the J-Series to enable monitoring and remote control, or in an IP68 outdoor enclosure.
